trying to be more poetic or artistic or emo or gay or something

Hi,

Skipping all formalities im just going to jump right in.

Im sitting here, listening to The Maine and its raining outside. While I was walking around, I noticed that it was a pretty gloomy day today, with all the rain and grey clouds in the sky…. It wasn’t until I put my earphones on and pressed play my ipod that I noticed that even on rainy days, the simple things can look just as amazing.

For example, I was walking down George street on my way to the bus stop with my broken umbrella in one hand and my ipod in the other. The rain was pouring down as pressed play on my ipod (on shuffle) and Inaudible Melodies by Jack Johnson had come on, and just at THAT moment I happened to notice a couple of brown maple tree leaves falling down from a tree in unison something like synchronised skydivers or something. (if they exist)

But yeah, its simple things like this that has been capturing my attention lately. I’m not really sure if this is due to the fact that my brain has become incredibly bored with my life or if im subliminally trying to be more poetic or artistic or emo or gay or something (I don’t know how this makes sense but…)

A couple of other things similar to what happened today that I have noticed while staring into nothing or walking from one place to another are, a hamburger shaped bicycle bell on a bicycle chained to a lampost, I couldn’t resist the temptation to walk over and start ringing the bell a few times even though this was against Jasmine’s approval, two Labrador puppies playing/fighting on a hill with no owners or people insight and what had looked like a homeless person, quietly approaching me from behind and blowing bubbles into my face as I stood waiting for my bus alone.

I guess stranger things have happened.

I hope this qualifies as a reasonable blog entry.

my theory (my excuse…)

Hey everyone,

It seems like my blogging has slowed down… and this sucks… and i think i know why this is happening. Well… it might be a combination of two things.

Firstly, i am going to blame this all on twitter. Why? Well let me bore you with my theory (my excuse…).  Twitter is sometimes referred to as a “micro-blogging website” now if my definition/knowledge of the English language is correct, the word “micro” means something small (LOL) so if i am constantly writing these “micro-blogs” everyday, MAYBE it is twitter that is using up all of my creativity and thus the lack of blogs.

If that didn’t make sense, i think the equation below will make things a bit clearer.

Tim + Twitter x Blogging = Tim + Blogging/Twitter

Where:

Blogging (average blog per month) = 4

Twitter (average twitter per month) = 50

Tim + 50 x 4 = Tim + 4/50

So… Tim = umm…

LOL i dunno… maybe a smart person could have made a good joke out of this…

Secondly, there is a massive lack of interesting shit happening…

Maybe its just because im just a really boring person.

ANYWHOS, lately ive been watching a show called Lawrence Leung’s Choose Your Own Adventure on ABC every week on Wednesdays at 9 30 pm. Basically this is a show where this guy called Lawrence Leung pursues all of his childhood dreams. The last episode aired a few days ago and in the episode Lawrence mentioned that one of his greatest achievements is achieving the number one spot on google. (this means when you search his name on google, his website/blog will be the first thing to come up) And this gave me a pretty good idea.

I want to become the number one Tim Wakulicz on google. LOL (how original)

However after thinking about this i realized that this was a pretty pointless ambition since there arnt very many “Tim Wakulicz“’s out there and it wouldn’t be that hard to become number one. Maybe if my name was something like John Smith. THEN becoming number one would be a feat that would be matched by non other then climbing Everest.

But yeah… can’t be bothered.

OH, i almost forgot… the poll! Well thank you everyone who voted on the poll i think its about time i take it down. It looks like it came down to an even score of 4 people voting for cake and 4 people voting for death. (quite emo? who knows.)

Umm just before i finish, whoever reads this should check out a band called A Day To Remember ive been listening to them quiet alot lately.

LOL i bet you can tell by the high quality blogs ive been rolling out

Hey everyone,

I promised a proper blog and it is a proper blog you will get. However i dont really know about how i am going to go about this. I know this will sound a bit funny but, normally i usually have a certain topic that ive pre thought of and approved as being blog worthy (LOL i bet you can tell by the high quality blogs ive been rolling out) But today, i’ve been racking my brain for ideas, for something to blog about and have come up with nothing really interesting… So today will be a day where quality will be second to the quantity of blogs i write (not that there will be any difference)

So, i guess it was April fools day today(in America, yesterday for Australians)… actually this reminds me, sometimes i wish that this blog had more of a strong following community, one where i could ask a question and i could get alot of replies. Not only from my friends but from the random blogging community of the interweb and wordpress. I guess you have to be famous for something like that… but one can dream… (PS this is why i have the random questions in my twitter that no one will answer)

Umm just going of the last twitter comment. Alot of people dont get twitter, and i understand why, from the outside it looks like something thats kinda pointless. It offers you nothing that you already dont have (does that make sense?) like facebook is something that alot of people already have and having yet another social networking site where you don’t even have your own profile seems pointless.

However twitter is not just another social networking site. Twitter is more of a… “hey i have a some spare time i wonder what my friends are up to…” or “hmm i just got attacked by a bee and ran into a poll and hurt myself… thats pretty interesting and humorous i wonder if people would like to know this…”

I don’t know… maybe twitter is one of those things where if all of your friends have it and use it alot its cool but if you and two friends are the only ones to have it, its kinda lame.

I think i could keep on going on like this, just talking about random thoughts that creep into my head. But i think this is an adequate length for a blog entry. Plus i planned to write about april fools day but ended up talking about twitter which im pretty sure no one is interested in reading about.

Better blog entry will appear in the future.

Blogging is at an ALL TIME LOW

Hi,

So it’s a lazy Saturday afternoon and i am supposed to be working on my uni assignments… but here i am writing a blog.  (oh god… i sound like the community channel girl…)

I think its pretty clear that my blogging has slowed down to almost a snail’s pace, however if you look on the bright side i have been keeping up to date with my twitter account so i guess thats alright.

In better news, something else thats at an ALL TIME LOW is myself!! All Time Low (a band) has announced their Australian tour! YAY! Which i quickly bought tickets for and with that they have also released a song of their new album ‘Nothing Personal’!

On the topic of music, im not sure if ive mentioned it before but i have an account on Last.fm which is basically a site that keeps track of what music you are listening to and which bands you’ve had on repeat for that week and which songs you’ve learnt all the lyrics to. The beauty of the website is that you can see what you’re friends (if they have signed up) are listening to which is always interesting.

Anyways, i was on the site earlier today and i noticed how they display which bands you have listened to the most, is quiet artistic and so i wanted to show you guys.

Therapeutic Benefits

Its been a while since ive dabbled in the art of blogging i guess… but yeah… i kinda feel like blogging so i guess ill get some stuff off my mind or chest… or whatever…

Umm the other day… a close friend asked me why i made my blog? like for what reason did i start it or create it. And at the time couldnt give a definite answer, or atleast one that didnt make me sound like a complete loser. So lately ive been thinking why do i have a blog? i mean when i first started it, i made it to… i dont know… get random people to read it LOL but yeah… are there other reasons?

So i did some research and came up with this,

and yeah… LOL Therapeutic Benefits… ive got to say im not so sure about if it works but yeah pretty interesting stuff…

On a completely different topic and since im feeling in the mood to tell whoever is reading this something interesting, the other day a random girl added me on facebook. Which was kinda strange cause she didnt only add me she sent me one of those inbox messages saying:

ok ok.. so i did add you radomly on facebook.. but bfor you make assumptions abt me & get creeped out.. i saw your list for fav music & was highly impressed, so my add was based on that alone! and.. NO! i dont usually add randoms, i promise!

.. feel free to decline my friend invite if i’ve already over-creeped you out! =S

Now… Im not 100% sure if putting this on my blog is a smart thing or the right thing to do… but yeah… i guess i can go with the saying “what she doesnt know won’t hurt her”.

Hmm i feel like im starting alot of interesting stories or ideas but not really finishing them off properly today… oh well…

Alrighty ive got one last thing i want to talk about.

Public displays of affection. (or PDA as everyone has constantly told me it is called)

Umm… well personally i dont have anything wrong with it but, (this was a long while ago) the other day i was at uni and i saw three public displays of affection. The first one was in the science block kind of out of place on the couches, the second on the grass and the last on the stairs… umm but yeah its kinda got me thinking like whats the like… general consensus about public displays of affection. As ive stated before i dont really mind it but it does somehow annoy me, i was actually talking to alot of different friends about it and one who knows me quite well caught me out. This friend knew exactly why it annoyed me.

It was because i was/am jealous.

But yeah… i guess thats all ive got for today… im not in the greatest of moods… but ill try to keep my blogging regular and although i hate doing recounts i might as well do one of my birthday which was a week ago.
