Hi all,
Today, I had my first day back at full time work today since last holidays and coincidentally enough it ended up not being THAT bad. With my new resolution of “don’t be depressed because all of your friends are out doing fun things without you” I headed to work with quite the enthusiasm.
I was greeted by a fellow employee on the elevator ride up to my floor, and we casually chatted about what we had gotten up to on the weekend. The conversation ending like it normally does with the older and usually married man telling me “ohhh I hope you didn’t get too trashed!” But I guess it wasn’t as bad as the other guy who consistently annoys me about me “having” a girlfriend.
On my lunch break I realized that I had forgotten my lunch that I had made myself (chicken and avocado sandwich) at home, and so I walked down to the cafe to purchase a Tuna roll. On my way down I had noticed that someone familer was sitting on the stair case across from me by herself, and that someone was the “chk chk boom” girl!
At this point I panicked.
So instead of talking to her or asking her for a picture I walked right past and continued to buy my lunch. As I purchased my roll and orange juice, I thought to myself, “Come on Tim! You will probably never see her again! Just go up and talk to her!” so on the way back I worked up the courage to walk up to her and ask her for a photo. However as soon as I had gotten close to her I had stopped and just stood there. Not looking at her directally but just checking if it was really her. All of a sudden I heard a voice
“yeah… I’m really the “chk chk boom” girl”
it was the “chk chk boom” girl, and she was talking to me! So then I had asked her if I could get a picture, and she replied “okay” and that how I met the “chk chk boom” girl
